Discombobulated head in a mech

been a bit caught up with work these days but heres a mech sketch i was working on just to indulge the mech-freak in me. Im usually doing env stuff for work and freelance so this is a nice change of pace for me.
dont ask me how the dude fits in there, my default answer is always that its a wounded veteran hooked up to a life support system. : |
i do have better and more detailed ideas when i was designing this guy but mb ill post it later. LATER

Fresh Pastries!

I was warned that if i kept neglecting this blog, social services would be on my case, so heres some work i completed recently. First up, i have some environments that started off as speed paints and gradually developed minds of their own

Then, we have a personal piece that started off as a design exploration of what a medieval-steampunk powersuit would look like.

Finally, we have some bread n butter rifle designs to keep my head on the ground. Crits are welcome, battering desired!

VISUAL GARBO..get it right alex

This piece shows an alternate universe, mining world with equal parts steam-punk and post industrial revolution influences. The foreman with a tophat in the foreground is a tribute to that famous photo of workmen having lunch on a steel beam while building the empire state building.
